New nudes: NudeStix Lip &Cheek Pencil in Mystic, Sin and Satan

Gleich ein kleiner disclaimer zu Beginn: Das hier gezeigte Set ist leider nicht in Deutschland erhältlich und leider auch nicht mehr bei Sephora USA. Booooooo. Ja, ich weiß, warum zur Hölle blogge ich dann darüber? (Nicht weil eine der Farben Satan heißt). Ich selbst gehöre zu den Leuten, die es anderen Bloggern übelnehmen, wenn sie limited editions propagieren und man dann angefixt feststellen muss, dass sie a) nicht mehr erhältlich sind oder b) bei eBay zu astronomischen Preisen verhökert werden. Aber bevor hier mit Steinen nach mir geworfen wird: Das Set ist zwar nicht (mehr) erhältlich, die Farben Mystic und Sin sind allerdings in full size bei Niche Beauty oder Douglas bestellbar. Nur auf Satan muss man leider verzichten. Ok, her mit den Steinen. 

Nun aber zu des Pudels Kern: Das Set von NudeStix beinhaltet drei der geyhypten Lip and Cheek Pencils in den Farben Mystic, ein wirklich schönes Nude; Sin, ein gedämpftes Pink und Satan, einem kräftigen Rot. Das Set steckt in einer hübschen Metalldose mit Anspitzer. Mystic und Sin lassen sich ganz hervorragend als Cremerouge verwenden, bei Satan muss schon mit mehr Fingerspitzengefühl gearbeitet werden. Das habe ich nicht, also kommt die Farbe bei mir auf den Mund. Auf den Lippen machen sich alle drei hervorragend. Sin und Satan sind komplett matt, Mystic glänzt dagegen leicht. Leider, leider trocknen die Lip and Cheek Pencils meine empfindlichen Lippen etwas aus. Dabei hatte ich sehr gehofft, dass es hier mal ein happy end geben würde, aber nö. Ich sag es mal so: Es gibt noch viel schlimmere Fälle von Saharalippe, aber mit Feuchtigkeit wird hier auch nicht unbedingt um sich geworfen. Würde ich die sticks trotzdem empfehlen? Wenn man nicht unter extrem trockenen Lippen leidet, dann ganz sicher. Vor allem, weil man man die Stifte ja auch als Rouge nutzen kann. Spart Platz im Schminktäschchen. Geeignet für Veganer sind sie auch. Und mit einem guten Lipbalm als Grundlage hält man es auch auf den Lippen aus.

So why the hell do I even talk about it on my blog? Certainly not because one of the shades is named Satan, but because at least two shades are available permanently. You see, it could be worse. But in case I haven't said so yet, I feel you, totally. I hate it when bloggers rave about a product or shade and you later find out that it was limited edition and you have to pay double the price on eBay if you want to own it. With this set its not that bad. Only the shade Satan – a matte classic red – is exclusive to this NudeStix Lip and Cheek Pencil kit. The other two, Mystic (an everyday nude that has a glossy finish) and Sin (a muted matte pink) are permanent. All three come in a little tin with a sharpener. They can be used as lipsticks or blushes. On the lips they look gorgeous, but are drying on mine, sigh. I mean, there are worse, but still, sigh. Mystic and Sin are perfect as cream blushes. If you're careful you can make Satan work as a blush, too. I would probably go overboard with this so that Satan stays away from my cheeks precautionary. If you don't have sensitive lips and are looking for multi purpose products, than these are for you. Especially if you're into vegan friendly products. And if you suffer from sensitive and dry lips, there is always lip balm that can be worn underneath to keep the damage at bay, right?
