Weil man nicht nur Möbel aufpolstern kann: L'oréal Revitalift Filler [HA] Aufpolsternde Augenpflege

Vor einiger Zeit durfte ich für L'Oréal eine Neuheit im Bereich Augenpflege testen. Wenn ich mir die Ringe und nicht mehr ganz so pralle Haut unter meinen Augen ansehe, bin ich die geeignete Kandidatin für jegliche Form von verschönernden Maßnahmen in diesem Gefahrengebiet. Was also durfte ich testen? Die Geschichte ist schnell erzählt. L'oréals neue Augenpflege mit dem klangvollen Namen Revitalift Filler [HA] Aufpolsternde Augenpflege. Sie verspricht sichtbar prallere Haut und soll Tränentäler auffüllen. Und wie macht sie das? Dank Hyaluronsäure. Hyaluronsäure ist ein körpereigener Stoff, der allerdings im Laufe der Jahre in den Zellen abgebaut wird. Wenn also der Zahn der Zeit am Hyaluronsäurespeicher der Haut nagt und sie dadurch schlaffer macht (dieses Wort ist so... deprimierend. Ich muss dabei automatisch an schlaffe, faltige Gesäßteile von alten Männern denken – meine erste und wohl letzte Saunaerfahrung im zarten Alter von 25. Aber ich schweife ab), kann man den wertvollen Stoff von außen wieder zuführen, so die hoffnungsvolle Theorie. Die empfohlene Altersangabe auf der Verpackung beginnt zwar erst ab vierzig, aber auch wenn ich die dreißig erst im nächsten Jahr erreiche, können meine Augen jede Hilfe gebrauchen. Die Creme ist laut Hersteller auch für empfindliche Augen geeignet, was ich bestätigen kann. Meine Augen sind wählerisch und bestrafen mich mit falschen Pflegeentscheidungen (sorry, Chanel) mit Tränen und/oder jucken. Man kann sich ja vorstellen, wie das dann aussieht. Das ist hier nicht der Fall, obwohl die Inhaltsstoffe jetzt nicht besonders natürlich sind. Die Creme steckt in einer Tube und wird mit einem Applikator aufgetragen, was ich sehr begrüße. Denn auch wenn ich meine Hände desinfiziere bevor ich meine Augenpflege auftrage, bleibt doch immer ein Bakterien-Restrisiko wenn man in den Tiegel greift. Die Form des Applikators passt sich der Augenform gut an und kühlt ein wenig, was das Abschwellen begünstigen kann. Nun aber zu der Pflegewirkung. Was ich absolut positiv hervorheben muss, ist, dass die Creme sehr schnell einzieht und meine Kombi aus Concealer und Puder sich danach nicht in den Falten absetzt. Auch meine Mascara verträgt sich relativ gut mit ihr, Pandaaugen stelle ich erst spät am Nachmittag fest. Meine Augenringe sind leider nicht weggezaubert (was ja auch nicht versprochen wurde, aber man wird ja wohl noch träumen dürfen), aber mir scheint es, als sei meine Haut glatter. Das ist doch schon mal was. Würde ich die Augenpflege nachkaufen? Wenn ich meine fünf anderen Augencremes in naher Zukunft aufbrauchen sollte, ist ein Nachkauf gar nicht mal unwahrscheinlich. Obwohl ich bis dahin sicherlich dreißig bin und L'Oréal mindestens eine neue Creme auf den Markt geworfen hat. 

Some time ago I got the chance to test out L'oréal's newest eye cream and judging from my undereye condition they couldn't choose a better candidate. I suppose that the product released in Germany is the equivalent of the Revitalift Volume Filler Eye Treatment that is available in the U.S. 

What it is and what it does: The Revitalift Volume Filler Eye Treatment is an eye cream that is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to help with wrinkles, hydration and restore the volume of the skin in the delicate undereye area. As you know, Hyaluronic Acid is a natural component of our cells, but the amount of it is reduced in the course of time resulting in wrinkles and saggy skin - boo. Ain't nobody got time for that and so providing the skin with Hyaluronic Acid sparks hope to avoid the signs of time. The Revitalift Filler Eye Treatment comes in a tube and should be applied with the applicator that distributes the product evenly. I'm a huge fan of this method, because although I disinfect my hands before I put my fingers into any jar containing skin care products, the fear of bacteria is never really gone. #handsfreeapplicationforthewin The cream is quickly absorbed, meaning that my concealer and powder do not crease afterwards and even my mascara shows little signs of smudging after a long day. I can see a difference in the smoothness of my skin, but unfortunately my dark circles are still going strong. Interestingly, the German version of the product doesn't claim to help with dark circles, but the American version does. Not sure what to think of that?! Anyway, whether L'oréal claims to reduce dark circles or not, its not happening. But thumps up for not irritating my sensitive skin, because its easy to get my eyes watery and red (looking at you, Chanel). I may be not the desired target group consisting of women in their forties, but turning thirty next year and running around with these circles under my eyes, I think I'm just as right for this skin care as any forty year old lady out there. Will I buy it again? Probably. But at first, I need to empty at least five other tubes and jars of eye cream. By that time I will be thirty, I guess, and L'oréal surely will have something new in store.
