Der OPI Nagellack der Woche: Kiss Me I'm Brazilian

Kiss Me I'm Brazilian ist ein helles, knalliges (Barbie) Pink. Puuuuh...

Can you remember the last truly pink nail polish here on the blog? I'm talking about real pinks, not my beloved dark, vampy almost red or Christmas pinks as I like to call them (something like Embarca-Dare Ya!). See, me neither. But I checked and it was Suzi's Hungary, AGAIN! (here) from the Euro Centrale collection. Long time ago. So maybe the time has come to show you another bright, hot, shocking Barbie-like pink (we can do this once a year maybe). Kiss Me I'm Brazilian from Opi's current Brazil collection is one of these bright pinks I don't feel a 100% comfortable wearing. I can't put my finger on it, but somehow I'm not feeling it. It is a pretty color, sure, but I'm not in love. We could have eye contact maybe, for a second or so, but that's it. No fire works, no 'they lived happily ever after'. The formula though is great as always. Smooth and creamy and opaque with two coats. Again, Kiss Me I'm Brazilian dries darker then you may suggest from what you see when looking at the bottle and this yummy strawberry milkshake pink inside the bottle. Probably I will be wearing black outfits only this week, because I feel like the color is a bit overwhelming when paired with other colors than black. No, I want to be honest. Actually I look like holiday Barbie when wearing it. And not in a good way.
